1. Scope and company role
This notice applies when Absolutely Absurd, LLC operates the website, checkout, product or service you use. The relevant brand page should identify the product and link to any supplemental privacy notice. Third-party services have their own privacy practices.
StreamerToolkits customers should also read the StreamerToolkits privacy notice, which explains local OBS-log processing, Stream Rescue evidence and Pro early-access messages.
2. Information we may handle
Depending on the product, we may handle:
- Contact and order information, such as name, email, brand, product and transaction reference.
- Payment status and limited billing information received from the payment provider; we do not receive your full card number or security code.
- Content, files, links, answers or instructions you choose to submit for the product.
- Support messages, cancellation requests and delivery records.
- Basic device, security, page and usage information, subject to the product’s consent controls and notice.
3. Why we use information
We use information to process and reconcile purchases, provide and deliver the requested product, communicate about missing information, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain records, improve reliability and comply with applicable obligations.
We do not use customer material to train a public model unless a product clearly asks for separate, informed permission.
4. Payments
Stripe processes current company checkouts. Stripe may collect identity, device, billing and payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive the information needed to confirm the payment, identify the purchased product, deliver it and handle disputes or refunds.
5. Providers and disclosure
We disclose information only when reasonably needed to operate and support a product—for example to payment, hosting, email, analytics, security or professional-service providers—or when required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or involved in a legitimate business reorganisation.
We do not sell personal information.
6. International processing
Customers and service providers may be located in different countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country. We use reasonable contractual, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the product and provider.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, security, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. Retention differs by product and record type. Product-specific notices may provide more detail.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small digital-product company, but no online system is perfectly secure. Do not send credentials or payment-card details through ordinary support email. Report suspected misuse promptly.
9. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some transaction records must be retained for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons.
Submit a request through company support and identify the relevant brand and receipt email. We may need to verify the request before acting.
10. Children
Company products are not directed to children unless a product explicitly says otherwise and includes appropriate safeguards. A minor should use a paid product only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
11. Updates
We may update this notice as products, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires another approach.
